Android TV IPTV Setup — Best Player Configuration with Xtream Codes & M3U
Configure an Android TV or Google TV player for your RBA Lab account, with practical checks for remote controls, playlist login and live TV playback.
Before you begin
Android TV, Google TV and compatible Android boxes. A phone-only Android app may not support a TV remote; check the listing for your exact device.
Use a stable connection and a TV-compatible player. Keep your RBA Lab account details available. Player purchase or licensing, if required, is separate.
Step 1 — Choose a TV-compatible player
Open Google Play on the TV and select a player available for that device. Check that its listing supports your connection method and remote navigation.
Step 2 — Open the playlist manager
Launch the player and locate its add-playlist or add-account screen. Select Xtream Codes or M3U to match the information RBA Lab supplied.
Step 3 — Enter the subscription details
For Xtream Codes, enter the server URL, username and password in separate fields. For M3U, paste the complete playlist URL without changing its parameters.
Step 4 — Save and verify the TV interface
Allow the list to load, open a channel and test Back, directional keys and channel selection with the remote.
Add an electronic program guide URL only if RBA Lab supplied one and the player offers that option.
